(More customer reviews)There is a very negative review, so if was not for Amazon's free shipping we might not have purchased this. Thank goodness for that offer, our office likes it. Main benefit, the plastic and metal means we do not worry about breaking it in everyday use. One of the reasons we needed to get a new one! It appears to scald on the bottom but we had that same problem with glass. This design is suited for us with a group of users but no one really taking responsibility.
