(More customer reviews)We bought this coffee maker about a month ago, and only later noticed the poor reviews here on a similar model, which several people said had leaked for them. Have my fingers crossed, but so far this has been a very good coffee maker. It was easy to set up and we have no trouble with the controls. It comes with an internal charcoal filter, which I think has really helped not only the flavor of the coffee but has helped prevent mineral build-up from our hard water. We have well water, so someone who has chlorinated city water might notice even more of an inmprovement in the coffee taste, I don't know. I like that it has a notice that flashes to remind you that you should do a vinegar run-through and change the filter, but it only came with one filter and I am having trouble finding a replacement. That is my only complaint so far. My husband is the bigger coffee drinker, and he could not be more pleased at this point. He has carpal tunnel, and he especially likes the fact that carafe has a wider, easier-pouring lip, so it pours more quickly and efficiently, and he is not struggling to hold the pot steady forever over the cup while a tiny stream trickles out. I will try to remember to get back to this review if we do experience a leaking issue or other problem, but --- so far, so good!
