(More customer reviews)I bought this dinner kit about a week ago at an online truck stop store called Road Trucker. I was browsing around and saw a button marked 12 volt high performance appliances. Thought I would take a look around and watch a couple of the videos and noticed that they also had starter kits. Some you hook to the car and others that did not need a car or even a battery. This dinner kit was one of them that didn't need a car battery. I wanted something I could use for camping and was delighted to find this particular kit came with a power pack which had its own battery. You could use it then recharge the battery. The first time I actually used it I made a cup of coffee. I promise you this was the fastest cup of coffee iI have ever brewed. I kid you not. It was faster than the pot at home. Just incredible and the contact grill was also very fast. I cooked up a steak in about 5 or maybe 6 minutes. I do plan on buying the other appliances. I charged the power pack back up while driving home. I didn't notice how long it took, but the trip was about 4 hours and it was fully charged by the time I got home. You can recharge it in your cigarett lighter or in your homke wall socket. Real nice. btw the maker of thease kits is a company called Power Hunt.
