Simple: no warmer to burn coffee, no timer or clock, a dripless carafe (YES), easy cup markings in carafe, automatic shutoff when done brewing. Coffee comes out at temperature that does not scald you and tastes good. Note: All plastic except for heating element. Does what it says it will.
