(More customer reviews)Cute design for a "cheap" pot. You won't sneer about the price tag when you taste the coffee though. No funny aftertastes, just good hot coffee from a simple machine. This coffee maker is very user friendly, easy to pour water into the reservoir and measure the amount, and easy to fill and clean the brew basket. The design makes way more sense than my old hand-me-down Cuisinart Brew Central. I don't even miss it having a clock or programmable settings. Obviously, price tag isn't everything: this coffee maker is a keeper!
One last thing...the box says it uses paper filters, but I bought a permanent filter for it and that works just fine and fits perfectly (buy a flat basket that says it will fit an 8-12 cup machine). You'll save a lot on filters in the long haul!
