It's an attractive enough coffee maker, with a front of thin burnished stainless steel. However, it's still just a Mr. Coffee. As with all Mr. Coffees I've had in the past, it requires more coffee grounds than other makers to make the same brew. (We have another brand of machine at work, and it takes about half the grounds as this one.) Mr. Coffee's designs, while attractive, all have drawbacks---in this case, when I lift the large lid to remove the filter, a small ocean of condensation runs down into the inaccessible reaches of the top unit. Harmlessly, I assume, but still. Once this machine dies on me (I expect in a year or two), I will either upgrade significantly to a Bunn product, or return to a plug-in percolator. (I'm no believer in gadgety coffee makers!)
Upshot: a good-enough product, attractive design, but nothing to write home about. Not bad for the money.
